No more security guarantees for Black Sea navigation Russian FM "IndyWatch Feed Africa"

RT | July 17, 2023

Russia will no longer provide security guarantees for civilian vessels traversing the formerly exempted corridor in the Black Sea, the countrys foreign ministry has announced. Earlier on Monday, the Kremlin stated that it would not extend the Black Sea grain agreement since its own food and fertilizer exports are still being blocked.

In a statement released on Monday, the Foreign Ministry said that this latest decision means the recall of maritime navigation security guarantees, the discontinuation of the maritime humanitarian corridor [and] the reinstatement of the temporarily dangerous area regime in the north-western Black Sea. Russian diplomats went on to accuse Ukraine of using the humanitarian corridor to carry out attacks on Russian targets.

As for the Ukrainian grain shipments that were facilitated by the deal, the ministry claimed that the vast majority of those ended up in Europe, with several countries there allegedly lining their pockets.

The statement pointed out that the whole mechanism, which was launched last summer, had ostensibly been designed to help avert famine in poorer nations.

According to Moscow, key points in the Russia-UN memorandum, which was signed in lockstep with the Black Sea Initiative, have remained unfulfilled to date.

As a result, the ministry explained, Russian bank transactions, insurance and logistics were effectively paralyzed, meaning that Moscow could not sell its own produce and fertilizers on the international market. In one case cited in the statement, a shipment of Russian fertilizers donated free of charge to several African countries was blocked in the EU.

The foreign ministry concluded that in light of all these issues, the agreement no longer makes sense.

Moscow has suggested European nations should allow Ukraine to transfer its grain via their territory and potentially face the wrath of local farmers, or take action and address Russias grievances.

Should this happen, Moscow would be ready to return to the implementation of the agreement, the statement noted.

Earlier on Monday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced the termination of the deal. He also reiterated Russias readiness to return to the mechanism; however, he added that this would only happen if its interests were respected.

Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Moscow would suspend participation in this deal, describing the arrangement as a one-sided game all along.

Russia halts participation in Black Sea grain deal until all sides of agreement are met in full "IndyWatch Feed World"

The Kremlin says Russia has halted its participation in a deal that allowed war-torn Ukraine to ship grain through the Black Sea to parts of the world struggling with hunger, dealing a blow to global food security after Moscow's invasion last year sent prices soaring. The United Nations and Turkey brokered the landmark accord with Ukraine and Russia in July last year, which came with a separate agreement to facilitate shipments of Russian food and fertiliser that Moscow insists has not been applied. The Black Sea deal has been extended several times and was due to expire on Monday evening as Russia refused any further extension citing its reasons.

Kievs Latest Attack Against The Crimean Bridge Was A Desperate Distraction "IndyWatch Feed War"

BY ANDREW KORYBKO | JULY 17, 2023

Kievs NATObacked counteroffensive has failed despite the tens of billions of dollars invested in this endeavor as confirmed by US Defense Intelligence Agency Chief of Staff John Kirchhofers candid admission late last week that we are at a bit of a stalemate. Ukraine cant count on much more American aid either after Biden earlier revealed that the US is low on ammo after depleting its stockpiles, which National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan later told CNN will take years to replenish.

It was against this backdrop that the US decided to give Ukraine cluster munitions despite previously describing their alleged use by Russia as a war crime since it simply doesnt have much else left to send. President Putin had earlier assessed that the export of provocative weapons like depleted uranium shells was precisely due to the aforesaid predicament, which he reaffirmed in light of the latest news. Quite clearly, the NATO chiefs race of logistics/war of attrition with Russia isnt going as planned.

The counteroffensive has failed so spectacularly that Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar was forced to inform her audience that reports about Russia going on the offensive near Kupyansk in Kharkov Region are true but sugarcoated it by claiming that Kiev is putting up strong resistance. With Russia regaining the military initiative, it was only a matter of time before Ukraine resorted to terrorism out of desperation to distract from these dynamics, ergo why it...

The War in Ukraine Isnt Over, but Many Refugees Are Coming Home "IndyWatch Feed Nthamerica"

KYIV, Ukraine Vladimir Putins invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 has caused the biggest refugee crisis in Europe since World War II. The exact numbers are unclear, but UN agencies estimate that at least 6 and up to 8 million Ukrainians have fled the bombs and bullets. The vast majority of them are women and children, as men between the ages of 18-60 have mostly been banned from leaving the country. Now, millions have of those refugees have returned to face an uncertain future. Three of them talked with me about why they left and the mix of happiness and uncertainty they face on returning.

Marta in Kyiv

My mom was begging me to wear this ugly sweater she unburied in the old grandpas wardrobe. Another ugly thing she made me wear was the bitter taste of embarrassment and guilt, and it will not save me when my heart gets frozen.

These are lines Marta, a 29-year-old from Kyiv, shared with me. They are part of a poem she wrote about the guilt and grief of leaving her home. She refers to her time in Poland, where she fled from the war in Ukraine, as the worst ever in my life. She didnt want to give her last name, as she says she still feels a strong sense of guilt about her decision to leave.

Marta left Ukraine when the war began and relocated to Warsaw. At that time, the Russians were attacking from five different directions, and the entire country was under assault. Marta expected to feel relief at escaping the chaos. Instead, however, she was overwhelmed with shame. I felt horrible mentally; the feeling of guilt would never leave me all that time, Marta said. I wanted to punish myself for not being in Ukraine. There was always a feeling, regardless of being safe, that I am not where I am supposed to be.

It was not that she felt unwelcome in Poland. Unlike refugees from conflict zones such as Afghanistan or Syria, Ukrainians have reported general acceptance and warm receptions from their hosts. Their fears are usually not for their immediate survival. Thats especially true in Poland, where the languages and cultures are very similar, and the Polish government has invested heavily in social programs and housing initiatives to help support refugees.

However, many, like Marta, report a deep sense of unease, even shame, about being safe abroad while people in their homes are suffering....

Unauthorized Entry: The Truth about Nazi War Criminals in Canada, 1946-1956 Review "IndyWatch Feed Politics.us"

Anna Paulina Mayerhofer (alias US Congresswoman Luna) has claimed to be part Jewish, but her grandfather, Heinrich Mayerhofer, was a Nazi German Wehrmacht soldier, who moved to Canada in 1954. Her Roman Catholic grandfather was one of many ethnic Germans, who were (shockingly) allowed to immigrate to Canada, as well as to the US and Australia after the Second World War. The post-war German immigrants to Canada appear to have been imported primarily as workers in agriculture, mining, and lumber industries, as well as domestic servants. Whereas there were many displaced ethnic Germans after the war, because they were chased from most territories under Soviet control, Heinrich Mayerhofer, was from Bavaria, which remained in West Germany, so wouldnt have been among the millions displaced. The US and Germany actually paid to help move Germans to Canada and elsewhere. Mayerhofer-Luna wants to block aid to Ukraine. Like her grandfather, Putins friend, former German Chancellor Schroeders father fought for Nazi Germany. Putin loves to surround himself with German speakers.

If they wouldnt have allowed Germans to immigrate, then they wouldnt have had so many war criminals.

From 1945 to 1961 inclusive, 2,099,641 immigrants came to Canada. The peak years were 1951 with 194,391 immigrants and 1957 with 282,184. Of the 2,099,641 immigrants, 625,235 were from the British Isles, 285,382 from Italy, 258,029 from Germany, 162,878 from the United States, 155,644 from the Netherlands, and 79,429 from Poland. Other smaller groups were the French, Yugoslavian, and Ukrainian. See: CANADAS IMMIGRATION POLICY, 1945 1962, by G. A. Western-supplied weapons all burned in Ukrainian failed counteroffensive NYT "IndyWatch Feed War"

By Lucas Leiroz | July 17, 2023

More and more evidence show the absolute failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive. According to a major Western media outlet, around 20% of Kievs [NATO-supplied] weapons were destroyed by the Russian armed forces during the first two weeks of the Ukrainian counterattack. Sources believe that this military disaster led the Ukrainian authorities to pause the operation, given the high casualty rate.

The information was published on July 15 by the New York Times. The article considers the beginning of the counteroffensive to be the first half of June, when the Ukrainian armed forces launched frontline raids from Kherson to Donetsk. Unnamed American and European officials told the NYT that in the first two weeks the moves resulted in the destruction of 20% of Ukrainian armored vehicles including those sent by the West. Earlier, Moscow had already reported 26,000 casualties among Ukrainian soldiers and 3,000 vehicles destroyed in the so-called counteroffensive.

Some Ukrainian special units were hit even more seriously by Russian high-precision strikes. This was the case, for example, of Ukraines 47th Mechanized Brigade, a NATO-trained division, which lost, according to the NYT, more than 30% of its Bradley infantry vehicles in the first half of June. Something similar happened with the 3rd Mechanized Brigade, which lost 32 German Leopard tanks in just one week.

They [Ukrainian Western-supplied weapons, armored vehicles] all burned () Everybody is hoping for a big breakthrough, a Ukrainian soldier identified as Sgt. Igor told journalists.

The Ukrainian weakness is mainly due to the absence of air support and the high presence of Russian minefields on the frontlines. Western tanks became easy targets for Russian artillery and air force, which led to many Ukrainian casualties, thwarting Kievs plans to launch a major counteroffensive in the spring-summer season. In this sense, the military disaster led the Ukrainians to stop the moves and rethink the tactics of war to be used against the Russian forces, according to the American newspaper.

The startling rate of losses dropped to about 10 percent in the ensuing weeks (), preserving more of the troops and machines needed for the major offensive push that the Ukrainians say is still to come. Some of the improvement came because Ukraine changed tactics, focusing more on wearing down the Russian forces with artillery and long-range missiles than charging into enemy minefields and f...

Assange Exposes the Empires True Face

Caitlin Johnstone

https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2023/07/16/assange-exposes-the-empires-true-face-notes-from-the-edge-of-the-narrative-matrix/

Julian Assange is a journalist whos been imprisoned for doing journalism on war crimes, by an empire that claims to defend journalists and oppose war crimes.

Assange and his persecution expose the giant plot holes in every story the western power structure tells about itself. About its love of free speech and the free press. About its opposition to tyranny. About its wars and why it wages them. Assange exposes the empires true face.

And in that sense its interesting that the empire made the decision to jail and silence Assange, since in doing so it exposed its own tyranny and criminality far more than WikiLeaks could have ever hoped to.

Assange said, It is the role of good journalism to take on powerful abusers. If you accept this as true, you must also accept that there are precisely zero good journalists anywhere in the western mass media, and that Assange is the greatest journalist who has ever lived.

The moderate position on Ukraine is to hold both Russia and the US empire responsible for their respective roles in starting and continuing this war. Thats the middle ground. But this position is regarded as freakish fringe extremism in the western mainstream and youll be accused of literally conducting psyops for a foreign government if you voice it, because the western mainstream is just that freakishly extremist.

The mainstream position in the west is that Putin invaded Ukraine solely because he is evil and hates freedom, and that Moscow is 100% responsible for this conflict in every way while the US is just an innocent little flower who just wants to protect freedom and democracy. When you actually spell out what the mainstream position on Ukraine is it sounds like a silly fairy tale for children, but thats what all the most influential western pundits, politicians and government officials are actually saying. Thats how bat shit insane things are.

The Overton window has been shifted so far in support of NATO warmongering that this middle-ground position is now regarded as fringe extremism, so they just debate things like whether or not cluster bombs should be used to fight this war that is obviously 10000% Russias fault. As is often the case this dynamic has already been well-described by the elderly scholar who we all love to share our opinions about:

The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there......

Russia said on Monday it had officially notified Turkey, Ukraine and the UN that it was against extending the Black Sea grain export deal.

The deal, which was brokered by the UN and Turkey in 2022, aimed at allowing the export of grain from war-torn Ukraine, easing the heavy impact on global food prices.

"In fact, the Black Sea agreements ceased to be valid today," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday.

"Unfortunately, the part of these Black Sea agreements concerning Russia has not been implemented so far, so its effect is terminated."

Moscow's ambassador to Belarus separately said that a note had been sent from the embassy to Ukraine via diplomatic channels, and that the deal would be terminated from 18 July.

The deal was part of an effort to combat a global food crisis sparked by disruption to grain supplies following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The deal was renewed in March, for...

Guns for Hire? A Season for Mercenaries "IndyWatch Feed War"

Human Wrongs Watch

UNITED NATIONS, Jul 17 2023 (IPS)* Just after a band of mercenaries tried to oust the government in the Maldives back in 1988, I asked a Maldivian diplomat, using a familiar military catch phrase, about the strength of his countrys standing army.

Standing army?, the diplomat asked with mock surprise, and remarked perhaps half-jokingly, We dont even have a sitting army.

With a population of about 250,000, around that time, the Maldives was perhaps one of the few countries with no fighter planes, combat helicopters, warships, missiles or battle tanksan open invitation for mercenaries and free-lance military adventurers.

As a result, the islands fragile defenses attracted a rash of mercenaries and bounty hunters who tried to take over the country twice once in 1979, and a second time in 1988.

Although both attempts failed, the Indian Ocean-island refused to drop its defenses. It not only initiated a proposal seeking a UN security umbrella to protect the worlds militarily-vulnerable mini states but also backed an international convention to outlaw mercenaries, namely the 1989 International Convention against the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries

In the US, a mercenary is called a soldier of fortune, which is also the title of a widely circulated magazine, and sub-titled the Journal of Professional Adventurers.

The adventures and mis-adventures of mercenaries were also portrayed in several Hollywood movies, including the Dogs of War, Tears of the Sun, the Wild Geese, the Expendables, and Blood Diamond, among others.

When the Russian Wagner Group hit the front pages of newspapers worldwide, it was described as a private mercenary group fighting in Ukraine.

The New York Times said on June 30 the Wagner Group provided security to African presidents, propped up dictators, violently suppressed rebel uprisings and was accused of torture, murder of civilians and other abuses.

But the failed coup attempt by Wagner threatened, for a moment, the very existence of the Group.

Bradley armoured vehicles. Click to enlarge

The vaunted Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV), which was touted as a potential game-changer when Washington agreed to give dozens of the machines to Ukraine earlier this year, has reportedly had trouble staying in action amid fierce resistance from Russian forces during Kievs counteroffensive.

At least 34 Bradleys have now been visually confirmed as having been abandoned, damaged or destroyed, Business Insider reported on Saturday, citing open-source data from military research firm Oryx. The US has supplied as many as 109 BFVs to Ukraine, the outlet added, and they were first deployed on the battlefield in April.

Most of the losses occurred during the early days of the counteroffensive, which began last month, as Ukrainian forces tried to cross territory that was heavily mined by Russian troops, Business Insider said. The latest loss estimate was similar to that in a report on Saturday by the New York Times, which said Ukraines NATO-trained 47th Mechanized Brigade had lost 30% of its Bradleys in just two weeks.

The BFV is a tracked and lightly armored vehicle with the capability to transport about ten soldiers and mount weaponry such as a 25mm cannon and a TOW anti-tank missile launcher.

When the administration of President Joe Biden agreed in January to send BFVs to Kiev, the Pentagon touted the vehicles as tank-killers and claimed they would provide a level of firepower and armor that will bring advantages on the battlefield. US media outlets such as Newsweek cited military experts as saying the Bradleys could become a game-changer, potentially even enabling Ukraine to retake Crimea. Russian officials warned that the BFVs and other Western-supplied weaponry would only prolong the suffering of the Ukrainian people.

With dozens of Bradleys and other hardware being knocked out of action by Russian forces, Ukrainian units have been forced to abandon their armored vehicles and advance slowly on f...

Hindutva Goes to Washington: Narendra Modis US Visit "IndyWatch Feed War"

Again, he was at it, that charming show on two legs, playful and coy.  Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been burning the charismatic fuel of late, making the necessary emissions in visiting friendly countries.  Each time, he seems to be getting away with more and more, currying (pun intended) favour with his hosts and landing the necessary deals.

For all the excitement of going to a fellow cricket loving state such as Australia, no one was under any illusion about the prize.  Easy gains there on matters of commerce, education and security: a pliant PM, a pliant Cabinet, a political and business class hungering for access to a country which recently passed China as the most populous on the planet.  In all of this, Modi had the audacity to urge Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to do something about reported acts of vandalism against Hindu temples in Melbourne.

In scale, nothing was going to compare to courting the superpower that, for all its might, teeters.  On his June visit to the United States, Modi was building on earlier efforts to show India as a viable partner in a number of areas.

The Modi visit exemplified the calculations of the moment.  The US has been rather clumsy of late, engaging in a foreign policy described by former US Secretary of the Treasury, Lawrence Summers, as a bit lonely.  US foreign policy makers have tended to miss a bit or two, not least understanding the value Indian officials place on their military relationship with Moscow.  The Indian political establishment is also mindful about how useful New Delhi is seen in Washington, the traditional counter to Beijing. That counter, however, is seen as subordinate to maintaining US supremacy under the lecturing guise of the rules-based order.

Such poses are simply not acceptable in either the Modi worldview or those of Indian policy makers.  As Indias External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has opined with a tart frankness, Washingtons power can be described as a transient moment of American unipolarity.  To assume, arrogantly, that history was at its end at the conclusion of the Cold War was a Eurocentric analysis jettisoned by nationalism. It is exactly such nationalism that Modi brims with.

The joint statement from the two countries made familiar, and predictable assumptions.  Much of it was frothy.  Both Biden and Modi affirmed a vision of the United States and India as among the closest partners in the world a partnership of democracies looking into the 21st century with hope, ambition, and confidence.  Naturally, there is no mention of Modis nationalistic...

The New York Times Latest Smear Piece Against Tucker Shows That Liberals Have Lost The Plot "IndyWatch Feed War"

BY ANDREW KORYBKO | JULY 16, 2023

The New York Times (NYT) Jonathan Weisman lost the plot in the article that he wrote in response to Tucker Carlson asking Republican presidential candidates about Ukraine. Titled Tucker Carlson Turns a Christian Presidential Forum Into a Putin Showcase, this self-described veteran journalist wanted to manipulate his audiences perceptions about his much more popular peer by getting them to think that hes shilling for the Russian leader. Instead, Weisman came off as cringey, desperate, and hateful.

Right at the start, the NYTs correspondent declared that Jesus is out. Vladimir V. Putin is in, which was meant to make it seem like the Christians at Fridays Family Leadership conference in Des Moise abandoned their god for a false idol. Nobody who sincerely respects Christians would ever imply what Weisman just did, which suggests that he was so triggered by Tuckers questions about Ukraine that he lost his cool by attacking all of his targets fellow believers as a form of collective punishment.

This wouldnt be the first time that he couldnt control his emotions either since he was demoted in August 2019 after an ethno-misogynist bigotry scandal that he sparked on social media. Weisman therefore has a track record of lashing out against certain identity groups in response to being offended by something that one of their representatives said or did, which extends credence to the abovementioned interpretation of what he intended to convey in that particular passage of his article.

Moving along, Weisman described Tucker as confrontational for reacting to former Vice President Mike Pences criticism of the Biden Administrations supposedly slow dispatch of military aid to Ukraine after he wondered aloud why that Republican presidential candidate is so distressed about this. Theres nothing confrontational in asking why a person running for the countrys top office cares more about a foreign country than their own, however, which is another example of Weismans false framing.

The next one came right after when he wrote that For good measure, Mr. Carlson called Ukraine an American client state, accused Ukraines Jewish leader, Volodymyr Zelensky, of persecuting Christians and strongly indicated Mr. Pence had been conned, despite evidence to the contrary. Weisman wanted his audience to think that Tucker was just peddling conspiracy theories, but the reality is that its this NYT correspondent who was yet again attempting to manipulate his audience...

Russian forces ruin one-third of Ukraines Bradleys media "IndyWatch Feed War"

RT | July 16, 2023

With dozens of Bradleys and other hardware being knocked out of action by Russian forces, Ukrainian units have been forced to abandon their armored vehicles and advance slowly on foot, the Washington Post reported on Saturday. You can no longer do anything with just a tank with some armor because the minefield is too deep, and sooner or later, it will stop, and then it will be destroyed by concentrated fire,...

What is behind the current tension in Turkish-Iranian relations? "IndyWatch Feed War"

By Alexandr Svaranc New Eastern Outlook 16.07.2023

Turkey and Iran continue to be important Middle Eastern nations. Due to their geographical proximity, imperial past, violent rivalry, theological tensions (between Sunnism and Shiism), and, of course, the continuous divergence of geopolitical interests, both nations have a rich history of relations.

There were multiple Turkish-Persian clashes and wars, with various interruptions and varying degrees of success, during the Ottoman and Persian empires. Regarding the significance of the harem in the Ottoman Empire, historians have observed that, unlike the Turkish-Persian conflicts, which occasionally came to an end during periods of truce, the harem wars continued unabatedly. The reasons for these wars were varied, with religion often becoming a justification for the ambitions of Istanbul or Tehran. As a rule, it was a struggle for the right to own border territories from the Caucasus to Asia Minor, for the right to control strategic trade and military communications (for example, the area between Tigris and Euphrates, Eastern or Western Armenia and Syria).

In fact, s...

Assange Exposes the Empires True Face "IndyWatch Feed War"

Listen to a reading of this article (reading by Tim Foley).

*****

Assange said, It is the role of good journalism to take on powerful abusers. If you accept this as true, you must also accept that there are precisely zero good journalists anywhere in the western mass media, and that Assange is the greatest journalist who has ever lived.

The moderate position on Ukraine is to hold both Russia and the US empire responsible for their respective roles in starting and continuing this war. Thats the middle ground. But this position is regarded as freakish fringe extremism in the western mainstream and youll be ac...

Russia Could Reverse Engineer Its Trophy NATO Weapons Putin "IndyWatch Feed War"

By Ilya Tsukanov Sputnik 16.07.2023

The Western alliance has sunk tens of billions of dollars worth of weaponry into Ukraine over the past year, including everything from outdated 1960s junk to the latest high-tech systems. Russian forces have managed to capture some of this equipment in fierce battles with Ukrainian forces and mercs.

Russian President Vladimir Putin doesnt rule out the reverse engineering of NATO equipment captured in Ukraine in cases where doing so could improve Russias own weapons.

Theres the expression reverse engineering. Well see what happens, because modern equipment we have it, and its very effective, lets take the T-90 Proryv tank for example, which is the best tank in the world without any exaggeration. But the enemy also produces modern equipment. And if theres an opportunity to look inside and see if theres something there that we can use, well, why not? Putin said in an interview with Russian television on Sunday.

The United States and its European and Asian allies have committed over $94.5 billion in military aid to Ukraine over the past 18 months, far outstripping the size of Russias entire defense budget of $56.6 billion. These expenditures, which included the delivery of some of NATOs most cutting-edge, battle-tested equipment, have nevertheless failed to enable Ukrainian forces to puncture Russian defensive lines in the Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson.

NATO powers have committed everything from Leopard 2 tanks (including some of their latest modifications) to Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, Stryker armored fighting vehicles, ATACMS rocket launchers, Caesar howitzers, Storm Shadow cruise missiles, NASAMS and Patriot air defense systems, with some countries sending virtually their entire stockpiles of some of these weapons. NATO has also sent a range of modern man-portable weapons, including Panzerfaust and Javelin anti-tank missiles, Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, and a range of drones, jamming equipment, radar, engineering and other equipment.

Some of these weapons, including everything from Javelins and Stingers to Bradleys and Leopards, have been captured by Russian forces, with some equipment now serving with Russian forces.

In the plan of the satanic CHABAD, the age of the Antichrist is intended to coincide with the genocide of most Christians.

by Patrick OCarroll (henrymakow.com)

In 1968, Gen. Jan Sejna tipped off Czech leader Alexander Dubcek that Russia was about to invade Czechoslovakia; then Sejna promptly defected to the USA (via the US Consulate in Trieste-Italy) to become one of the most prominent Eastern Bloc functionaries to ever defect during the entirety of the staged cold war. Sejna later became a counterintelligence analyst for the Central Lack-Of-Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Langley VA.

In his 1982 book We Will Bury You, Jan Sejna warned that communism was soon about to fake its own death by collapsing the Warsaw Pact but also by ultimately disarming the USA and NATO. In a way, Sejna was proven right, but with some reservations.

He was RIGHT about communism faking its own death but not going away: He was also RIGHT about communism disarming the USA:

Former CIA Moscow Chief, By His Remarks, Shows Why The CIA Is Feckless "IndyWatch Feed Politics.us"

My first and only contact with Rolf Mowatt-Larssen, who served as the CIAs Chief of Station circa 2000, was at a conference hosted by my former CIA classmate, Valerie Plame, five years ago. Rolf is a very pleasant, soft-spoken man, but is blinded by an old Cold War view of the world and cannot see Russia straight.

In Rolfs world, Putin is bad. Very, very bad. And the United States? Clean as the driven snow on the Artic Tundra. He perpetuates the myth that Putin is weak and in trouble. Rolf also makes the ridiculous claim that the U.S. deployment of cluster bombs is a reaction to Russias use of increasingly lethal weapons. He is not a stupid person. Yet he ignores the fact that the United States and its NATO partners are the one deploying more sophisticated, lethal weapons. Who sent the HIMARS? Who sent the M777s? Who sent the Storm Shadow?

I was shocked by Rolfs cavalier dismissal of the West coming up short in its ability to supply 155 mm shells and effective air defense systems. The much ballyhooed Patriot system has been a complete bust. But that does not faze Rolf. He just rambles on about the West needing to show resolve and commitment. In fact he asserts that it is very possible that Russia will be defeated by Ukraine. We got to find out what mind altering substances he has been ingesting. That is the only explanation I can come up with to explain the nonsense spilling from his lips.

A cautionary warning please do not have any hard object at hand, like a baseball or a rock, as you watch this video because you will be tempted to hurl it at your screen in outrage over his so-called analysis.

I posted this in its entirety in order for you to appreciate that I am not taking any of his comments out of context. Officers like Rolf explain why the CIA is acquiring a reputation for being inept.

The Russian President underscores the significance of prioritizing humanitarian concerns and working toward a global ban on these indiscriminate weapons. "Until now, we have not done this, we have not used it, and we did not have such a need, despite the known shortage of ammunition by us as well in a certain period of time, but we did not do this. But, of course, if they are used against us, we reserve the right to mirror actions," Putin said in an interview for Rossiya-1 broadcaster. Putin made these comments in response to the recent unveiling of a new US military assistance package for Ukraine, which includes cluster munitions.

Ukraine war: Irish fighter Rambo describes terrifying Russian tank chase all of us were screaming

Yahoo News July 11, 2023

If Ukraines counteroffensive has moved more slowly than many in the West had hoped, it has also proven more costly in terms of human lives.

The fighting has been brutal and bloody as the Russians use mass artillery and minefields to defend territory seized earlier in the war.

An information blackout has been imposed by the Ukrainians to protect operational tactics, but post-battle accounts by individual combatants reveal the perilous nature of the fighting at the front.

The toll, both physically and emotionally, has been considerable.

Sky News has interviewed two foreign volunteers who have been fighting in the Ukrainian army for the past 17 months. Their accounts have been supported by additional testimony provided by several other foreign volunteers.

Rhys Byrne, codename Rambo, is a spirited 28-year-old from Dublin. He has fought for a number of units in Ukraine, including the 59th brigade in the Ukrainian territorial army where he operated a heavy machine gun.

He says the battle to reclaim territory has been horrific. On zero line its horror. Its horror. There is just a genocide. Its slaughter.

There are dead people everywhere. Russians dead. Ukrainian people dead. the biggest problem we get when were going into trenches is stepping over all the dead bodies that are already there from the last people [who] went in that kind of stuff really haunts you.

We met him at a respite centre in eastern Ukraine, a sanctuary used by army volunteers who have been granted leave from the front.

The final straw

Byrne told us about an engagement that he called the final straw an encounter with a Russian tank and Russian troops that nearly got him killed.

He says: We were told there [was] a Russian trench line and our job is to go into the trenches and clear them out and hold them until the auxiliary units come and then we go back.

The unit, with 40 members including Ukrainians, Americans and Britons were taken to a staging area near the front or zero lin...

Kennedy accuses Biden of preparing for war with Russia "IndyWatch Feed War"

Biden trips not once but three times while trying to ascend the stairs to Air Force One.

Azerbaycan24.com July 15, 2023

The US leader should acknowledge his failure in Ukraine and focus on domestic issues, the presidential candidate has said US 2024 Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy

By ordering the deployment of 3,000 more reservists to Europe, US President Joe Biden is preparing to fight Russian forces on the ground in Ukraine, Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has said.

Biden has lost his way, Kennedy tweeted on Friday, arguing that the president should focus on Americas domestic problems instead of trying to achieve global military dominance.

I want people to understand what this troop mobilization is about. Its about preparing for a ground war with Russia, he said.

The idea of defeating Moscow in its conflict with Kiev is a futile geopolitical fantasy of the Biden administration, the Democratic presidential candidate added.

Thousands of Ukrainians have already lost their lives because Americas foreign policy establishment manipulated their country into war Now, rather than acknowledge failure, Biden admin prepares to sacrifice American lives too, Kennedy said.

On Thursday, Biden signed an executive order mobilizing 3,000 members of the US militarys Selected Reserve to boost the ranks of Operation Atlantic Resolve, which Washington launched in Europe in 2014 after Crimea rejoined Russia following the Western-backed coup in Kiev.

According to Army Lieutenant General Douglas Sims, the Joint Staff director of operations, the move reaffirms the unwavering [US] support and commitment to defend NATOs eastern flank in the wake of Russias military operation in Ukraine.

The US European Command (EUCOM) spokesman, Navy Captain Bill Speaks, said the deployment of reservists will not change current force-posture levels in Europe.

The leading Republican presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump, also had some harsh words to say about Bidens decision to send more American troops to Europe. The reckless escalation in Ukraine pursued by the White House is straining the US military to the point of disaster, he said.

Joe Biden cant even walk up the steps of Air Force One without tripping. The last thing this incompetent administration should be doing is pushing us further toward World War III.

Trump reiterated his earlier claim that if he becomes president again, he would end the conflict in Ukraine in 24 hours. Not one American mother or father wants to send their child to die in Eastern Europe. We must have peace.

Another Republican presidential candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, said it is downright disturbing that the US media is largely ignoring the presidents order in its reporting. What is the justification now...

The March on the Kremlin "IndyWatch Feed Africa"

Israel Shamir The Unz Review July 15, 2023

Russian generals are similar to the US generals depicted in Catch-22, the jolly novel by Joseph Heller: quarrelling, arrogant, caring more about their position and reputation than about the war. They too make their fighters fly more missions, perhaps leading their careers to greater glory. Fighters get killed, but who cares? They were greedy, too, and ready to bomb their own airfields if the enemy paid them enough to do it. The Russian general Ivan Popov was very popular with his troops for his panache, but he was forced out by general Gerasimov, the Head of General Staff. Wagner PMC head Eugene Prigozhin, the hero of Bakhmut, needed ammo, but Shoygu from the MoD lusted after another medal (to add to the 60 he has already amassed), and ammo for the Wagner group was not a priority for him. Prigozhin marched with his army to the gates of Moscow to get Putins attention, which he got along with his ammo after some delay. Some journalists accused Prigozhin of mutiny, but instead he was given millions in roubles and dollars, gold and guns that were taken from him in the aftermath of his escapade. Foreign minister Mr Lavrov described the event as peredryaga, meaning trouble, mess, or confusion. General Popov also wants to speak to Putin, to explain himself, but he has no soldiers to march with him.

Both Popov and Prigozhin openly criticized the way Mr Shoygu of the MoD, and General Gerasimov, his head of Staff, are managing the war in Ukraine. But some US officials and the Russian pro-Western opposition preferred to call their criticism a coup dtat. So many people wanted this coup to happen that now it is difficult to claim it was a nothing-burger. Lets examine in detail what happened between the Russian state, the General Staff, the Ministry of Defence and the proprietor of Wagner PMC, Mr Prigozhin.

Prigozhin is a Russian billionaire and entrepreneur. He did some catering for the Kremlin (a position of great trust), then delivered meals to schools in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and lately has expanded into media operations. He established the so-called Troll Factory: a major source of influence in Russian social media. Before this, it was the Western intelligence services that ruled supreme in Russian social media, be it Facebook, Instagram or VK. Prigozhins Trolls were able to quickly counteract the efforts of Western propaganda warriors, and as a result he became close to Putin personally. Around 2015, he moved from commanding internet trolls to commanding real warriors: he established a private military company called Wagner, after the nickname of its co-founder. They fought for Russia in many countries in Africa, in Syria, in Latin America. At some point, the Russian state turned to them for help. The head of the General Staff, General Gerasimov personally addressed Mr Prigozhin, and asked him to tak...

No fertilizer exported from Russia under grain deal media "IndyWatch Feed Africa"

RT | July 15, 2023

Not a single vessel carrying Russian fertilizer has been dispatched since the adoption of the Black Sea grain deal last year, Russian news agencies reported on Saturday, citing the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) for the initiative.

Enabling fertilizer exports from the sanctioned country was one of the conditions for the UN-brokered agreement that allowed for the safe passage of ships carrying Ukrainian grain via the Black Sea. The deal was extended several times and is due to expire on Monday.

The agreement of July 22, 2022 allows the export of [Russian] fertilizers, including ammonia, however not a single ship with fertilizers has been dispatched within the framework of the initiative, the JCC said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

The Coordination Center also reportedly noted that fertilizer exports depend on the condition of a key ammonia pipeline on Ukrainian territory. A section of the Togliatti-Odessa pipeline was sabotaged last month, and according to the report, at the moment its status is unknown.

The conduit has been inactive since the start of the Ukraine conflict last year, and Moscow has repeatedly demanded that Kiev unblock the pipeline as a condition for renewing the grain deal. The route has big significance for agriculture, as ammonia is crucial to fertilizer production.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that the grain deal has failed to remove the barriers to the export of Russian grain and fertilizer. Talking to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Putin added that the pact has also failed to deliver on its goal of supplying grain to the poorest nations.

Earlier this week, the Russian leader said that Moscow may suspend its participation in the grain deal until Western sanctions on its agricultural exports are lifted.

The Joint Coordination Center on the Black Sea Grain Initiative was founded in July 2022 in Istanbul. JCC comprises representatives of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Trkiye, and the United Nations.

20% of Ukrainian weapons destroyed in just two weeks "IndyWatch Feed War"

RT | July 15, 2023

The Ukrainian military lost 20% of the equipment it sent to the battlefield during the first two weeks of its counteroffensive, the New York Times reported on Saturday. This high attrition rate was reportedly a key factor in Kievs decision to pause the operation.

Beginning in early June, Ukrainian forces launched a series of attacks all along the front line from Kherson to Donetsk. Advancing through minefields and without air support, the Ukrainian military lost 26,000 men and more than 3,000 pieces of military hardware, according to the latest figures from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Ukrainian losses were at their highest during the initial two weeks of the offensive, the New York Times claimed, citing unnamed American and European officials. These officials said that up to 20% of Ukraines tanks and armored vehicles were destroyed in this period, including many Western-provided vehicles.

For some units, Western equipment was lost at an even higher rate, the Times continued, citing figures from a pro-Ukrainian organization. Ukraines 47th Mechanized Brigade a NATO-trained unit apparently lost 30% of its 99 Bradley Infantry Fighting vehicles in two weeks, while the 33rd Mechanized Brigade lost nearly a third of its 32 German-made Leopard tanks in a single week.

They all burned, said one Ukrainian soldier who witnessed at least six Western vehicles destroyed in a single Russian artillery barrage. Another Ukrainian fighter told the Times that his units Bradleys run over anti-tank mines on a daily basis. While the troops inside often survive, the vehicles are left immobilized long before they reach Russian lines.

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian forces have destroyed a total of 311 Ukrainian tanks since June 4. At least a third of them, I believe, were Western-made tanks, including Leopards, Putin told Russia 24 TV on Thursday.

After the first two weeks, Ukrainian commanders decided to pause the counteroffensive, and losses subsequently dropped to 10%, the Times claimed. President Vladimir Zelensky acknowledged the pause this week, but blamed the West for failing to supply him with enough weapons and equipment for a successful operation.

With little territorial gain to show for Kievs losses, Western officials have expressed disappointment at the pace of the offensive, according to a steady trickle of media reports since mid-June. Zelensky and some of his top officials still insist that the decisive phase of their counteroffensive has yet to begin.

Meanwhile, Ukraines Western backers are running low on ammunition, particularly 155mm artillery shells. US President Joe Biden...

General Valery Zaluzhny is unhappy those who pay his army's bills get to set the rules of engagement Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Valery Zaluzhny told the Washington Post in an interview published on Friday that US has restricted his country's use of long-range missiles and forced his army to improvise in order to attack Russia. "To save my people, why do I have to ask someone for permission what to do on enemy territory?" Zaluzhny is quoted as telling the Post, in what was described as a rare interview, complaining about what the outlet called "figurative Western handcuffs on his military operations." "For some reason, I have to think that I'm not allowed to do anything there. Why? Because [Russian President Vladimir] Putin will... use nuclear weapons? The kids who are dying don't care," the general is quoted as saying.

U.S. Soldiers Dont Belong in Ukraine "IndyWatch Feed War"

By Eve Ottenberg | CounterPunch | July 14, 2023

So how many American soldiers fight in Ukraine? The Biden bunch is careful not to reveal or refer to their presence, mercenary or otherwise, but the question keeps coming to mind. It popped up again June 27, when Russia bombed what the Ukraine press called simply a restaurant in Kramatorsk. However, this supposedly innocuous restaurant was part of a hotel complex that apparently attracted lots of western men of fighting age, specifically American soldiers and others from NATO countries. We know this because eyewitnesses heard them speaking American English and saw their U.S. military tattoos (3rd Ranger Battalion) and the American flags on their helmets. Also, American mercenaries were reported dead in twitter accounts. We also know that this missile attack killed 50 Ukrainian officers and two generals and at least 20 of the westerners, including Americans, proving yet again that one American soldier in Ukraine is one too many.

The problem is that we dont know how many U.S. soldiers to say nothing of American mercenaries are in Ukraine. The Russian ministry of defense estimates that there have been over 900 American mercenaries in Ukraine. Meanwhile Washington remains mum, closely guarding its knowledge of this secret for the obvious reason that not doing so might provoke an open confrontation with Moscow. And since they dont want a nuclear World War III, the white house and pentagon nurture an intense interest in concealing facts about the U.S. military footprint in Ukraine and their possible encouragement of it. Even if large numbers of American NATO officers were killed there, we, back in the so-called homeland, would doubtless be kept in the dark.

The scraps of news we do get indicate that the fighting goes poorly for U.S. troops. This is my third war Ive fought in, and this is by far the worst one, Troy Offenbecker told the Daily Beast July 1. Youre getting fucking smashed with artillery, tanks. Last week I had a plane drop a bomb next to us, like 300 meters away. Its horrifying shit.

The Daily Beast quotes another U.S. soldier, David Bramlette: The worst day in Afghanistan or Iraq is a great day in Ukraine. Regarding reconnaissance missions, he said, if two of them get injured theres no helicopter coming to get you shit can go south really, really frickin quickly. In other words, this is a different enemy, a very competent one, and U.S. soldiers in Ukraine sub rosa could die in large numbers that people back home never hear about.

Take the case of the March missile attack on Lvov. We have no idea if the rumors swirling around this assault, rumors of hundreds of NATO dead, includin...

Kennedy accuses Biden of preparing for war with Russia "IndyWatch Feed National"

RT | July 15, 2023

What is the justification now [for sending reservists to Europe]? What are the operations? Where will they go? What will they do? We need answers, not sweeping this under the rug as Biden would prefer, Ramaswamy said in...

Anger has spread across the occupied Palestinian territories following the arrest of a prominent journalist by the Palestinian Authority's security forces.

Aqil Awawdeh's family said that forces from the Palestinian Preventive Security Service raided his workplace in Ramallah on Thursday afternoon, arrested him and transferred him to an unknown destination.

The arrest came after he published a short video disputing a claim made by the spokesperson of the Palestinian security services that there were no political detainees in their prisons.

Hours after his arrest, the Lawyers for Justice group announced that Awawdeh's detention had been extended to Sunday.

The head of the group, lawyer Muhannad Karaja, told Middle East Eye that he was able to visit Awawdeh for a few minutes to obtain his approval to appoint a defence lawyer to follow up the judicial procedures.

According to Karaja, the journalist is being held by the Public Prosecution Office on charges of "inciting racial strife" on the basis of posts on social med...

During the 1990 discussions to re-unify East and West Germany, the Western parties sought to defuse Moscows fears that a reunified state in the heart of Europe would present a threat to the Soviet Union.

Mikhail Gorbachev only accepted German reunification over which the Soviet Union had a legal right to veto because he received assurances that NATO would not expand after he withdrew his forces from Eastern Europe.

These assurances came from folks like President George H.W. Bush, West German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, the CIA Director Robert Gates, French President Francois Mitterrand, British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, British Prime Minister John Major, and NATO secretary-general Manfred Woerner.

US wants neither peace nor dialogue: some voices call for disintegration of Russia "IndyWatch Feed War"

By Uriel Araujo | July 15, 2023

The US-led West is not interested in peace or in any kind of compromise to put an end to the current conflict in Ukraine. According to University of Chicago political science professor John Mearsheimer, Western leaders have additional goals, which include regime change in Moscow, putting Putin on trial as a war criminal, and possibly breaking up Russia into smaller states. Journalist Anchal Vohra, writing for Foreign Policy, tells us that Western analysts and Russian dissidents have been publicly calling for the decolonization of Russia itself

Take, for example, the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (an independent US. government agency): already in 2022, Vohra reminds us, it published a report called Decolonizing Russia, which declared that such decolonizing should be a moral and strategic objective.

This extreme stance is not a reaction to the escalation of the ongoing conflict (but rather one of its external causes); in fact, such views are nothing new at all. Take, for instance, the late Zbigniew Brzezinski, the influential diplomat and foreign policy expert who served as a national advisor to former US President Jimmy Carter: he openly called for the further fragmentation of Russia (after the collapse of the Soviet state). In his 1997 Foreign Affairs piece, he called for a loosely confederated Russia composed of a European Russia, a Siberian Republic and a Far Eastern Republic. Brzezinski advocated all this while also speaking about  Americas global primacy extending all the way over to the Eurasiatic landmass too, of course. According to him, the US should perpetuate the prevailing geopolitical pluralism on the map of Eurasia, so as to prevent even the remote possibility of any one state seeking to challenge Americas primacy. To put it simply, for the American establishment, Russian simply cannot be.

This attitude, distorted as it is, makes some sense, from a certain American perspective, focused on global supremacy and the pursuit and maintenance of unipolarity. This has been shaped by the geopolitical thinking of Sir Halford John Mackinder and his concept of the struggle for the Heartland, and also by US Navy captain Alfred Thayer Mahan (and his 1890 The Atlantic article The United Sta......

Iranians lash out at Russia after Moscow wades into Gulf territorial row

Russian backing of UAE's claims on disputed Gulf islands puts Iran's 'Look East' policy in question

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov leaves with his counterparts of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states after posing for a family photo prior to their meeting in Moscow on 10 July 2023 (Reuters)

Russia has waded into a territorial dispute in the Gulf this week, provoking a rare outpouring of criticism from its regional partner Iran.

On Monday, Russia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) issued a joint statement in support of the United Arab Emirates' claim on three islands in the Gulf that Tehran argues are Iranian. The move echoed a similar statement issued by China last year.

After over a decade of growing ties and partnership between Tehran and Moscow, this latest statement has pushed former government officials and prominent figures in Iran to question the effectiveness of the Islamic Republic's "Look to the East" policy.

The Gulf and the disputed islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa are matters of significant national pride for Iran, making the public highly sensitive to any positions taken on this issue.

The territorial disputes between Iran and the UAE over these islands have persisted for decades, with Abu Dhabi consistently asserting its claims.

No More NUC: Intels Weirdly Named Mini PCs Seem to be Going Away "IndyWatch Feed Tech"

Intel has exited several side businesses as it tries to stop losing money:

Since 2012, Intel has designed and sold its own lineup of mini PCs. The Next Unit of Computing series (NUCrhymes with yuck) always most closely resembled Mac mini-like desktops, but over the years, it grew to encompass compact workstations and gaming systems as well as mini servers with multiple Ethernet ports.

But Intel is apparently throwing in the towel on the NUC, according to a statement given to The Verge earlier today.

[...] The NUC was an effort to bring the speed, size, and low power usage of an ultrabook into the desktop realm, replacing boxy, ugly office desktops with something you could hold in the palm of your hand. NUC-style mini PCs didn't take over the desktop market in the same way that ultrabooks came to dominate the laptop market, but the NUC is still survived by a large ecosystem of similarly tiny PCs, many of which are ultimately cheaper and easier to buy than most NUCs were. Models include but are not limited to Dell's Optiplex Micro, Lenovo's ThinkCentre Tiny, HP's ProDesk and EliteDesk Mini systems, Gigabyte's Brix systems, a number of models from PC motherboard-makers like Asus and ASRock, and Apple's Mac mini and Mac Studio.

The end of the NUC is due at least in part to Intel's recent financial strugglesthe company has had a few rough quarters since the end of the pandemic-era PC boom, losing billions of dollars as its consumer, workstation, and server businesses al...

Pushed by the weapon industry the U.S. Defense Department is dragging its feet over the delivery of F-16 airplanes to Ukraine:

Pentagon: Ukraine battlefield situation currently not ideal for F-16 deployment

The battlefield conditions in Ukraine are currently not ideal for the employment of F-16 fighter jets, said Lieutenant General Douglas Sims, the director of operations of the Joint Staff, on July 13.

The conditions right now for the employment of the F-16s are probably not theyre probably not ideal, the general said at a press briefing.

I mean, the Russians still possess some air defense capability. They have air capability. And the number of F-16s that would be provided may not be perfect for whats going on right now, he clarified.

Lockheed-Martin, which still builds and sells the F-16 to various countries, is obviously not happy that the markets will soon learn that the F-16 have no fu**ing chance against modern Russian fighter planes and air-defenses.

Their coming destruction will scream Buy Russian! to the world and several countries will probably switch their provider and do so.

Russian Lawmakers Approve Ban on Gender Reassignment "IndyWatch Feed War"

The Moscow Times July 14, 2023

Lawmakers from the Russian parliaments lower-house State Duma on Friday approved a ban on legal and surgical sex changes.

The bill was passed in its third and final reading, banning medical interventions aimed at changing the sex of a person and the state registration of a change of gender without an operation.

According to the legislation, medical commissions will determine a list of allowed interventions related to the treatment of congenital anomalies, genetic and endocrine diseases associated with the impaired formation of the genital organs in children.

This decision will protect our citizens and our children, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said on the Telegram messaging app.

He described gender reassignment as the path leading to the degeneration of the nation, adding that this is unacceptable for Russia.

Human rights activists warn that banning gender reassignment will lead to the emergence of an underground market for surgeries and an increase in the number of suicides among transgender people.

The new legislation must now pass a single reading in the upper-house Federation Council before it can be signed into law by Russian President Vladimir Putin, steps seen as formalities.

Once passed, the bill will prohibit child adoption by those who have had a sex change, while also allowing for the annulment of marriages where one of the partners has undergone gender reassignment.

Russian officials have frequently cast Western liberal values, particularly gender and sexual freedoms, as a foreign ideology that threatens Russias so-called traditional and spiritual values.

Last year, Russia imposed a law banning the propaganda of LGBT relationships and lifestyles toward all ages, effectively outlawing public displays and media portrayals of non-heterosexual identities.

July 14 Putin is Chabad Boy Toy "IndyWatch Feed War"

(Putin with his Chabad handler, Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar)

HenryMakow.com July 14, 2023

Putins dismissal of a top Russian official for criticizing Chabad Satanism has made me change my mind about Putin and the Russian war.  But the clincher is that Putin and Medvedev always refer to the West as Anglo Saxons when they know perfectly well that anglo saxons are getting their bums paddled in the West which is totally controlled by Satanist Jews (Chabad) and Freemasons.

Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Alexei Pavlov, the official who labeled Chabad as a neo-pagan cult, from his position as the assistant secretary of Russias security council. The Russian state TASS news agency reported that the Kremlin published its decision on Friday.

The Russian news agency reports that Pavlov will now be moving on to another job after having served as the Assistant Secretary of the Security Council since 2009.

The reasons for Pavlovs dismissal were unstated by the document announcing the move.

Russian chief rabbi, Berel Lazar, who is part of Chabad, called the column, posted last November, a piece of vulgar antisemitism. His top deputy warned that the column heralded a new era in Russias relations with Jews.

In the column, Aleksey Pavlov, secretary of the Security Council of Russia, a government committee of experts, spoke of the need to perform desalinization in Ukraine, which Pavlov claimed had hundreds of neo-pagan cults. He included the Chabad-Lubavitch sect, as he called it, on a list of various religious groups that he said proved his point.

City of Londons Desperado Edict: Nato Commits To Kievs Fast Track Membership and Cluster Bombing to WWIII "IndyWatch Feed Politics.us"

Turkeys President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the days leading up to Tuesday July 11ths two-day NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania appears to have dramatically pivoted back into the Western Deep State fold, on Saturday July 8th raising the issue of becoming an EU member again, advocating Ukraine join NATO, finally giving in to Sweden as a NATO member on the eve of the Vilnius NATO summit, and last Saturday releasing five neo-Nazi Ukrainian Azovstal commanders vowing to return to the combat zone who were held in a Turkish prison, breeching the original agreement between Ankara, Kiev and Moscow to hold off their release until after the Ukraine conflict.

In front of the cameras handing five commanders over to a beaming Volodymyr Zelensky in Ankara last weekend was optically a much-needed promotional big PR win for Ukraine, just ahead of the Vilnius NATO summit. With Ukraines counteroffensive a complete failure, optics means everything to this fake actor. But to Russia Erdogan and Zelenskys move was viewed as Erdogan stabbing his close ally Russia in the back. Right afterwards, the opportunistic actor Zelensky flew off to Snake Island to thank Ukraine troops, basking in more centerstage theatrics, reminding the world that southern Ukraines coastline access to the Black Sea is still controlled by Kiev, despite strong likelihood that Russia will soon militarily snatch Odessa and Ukraines sea access away for good. The shrinking nation and population of Ukraine will be without its fearless dictator puppet soon as well.

A further development explaining this abrupt switcheroo by turncoat Erdogan suddenly kissing US/NATOs ass again is the F-16 fighter jet deal with the US, announced on Tuesday July 11th at the Vilnius, Lithuania NATO summit. This deal had been held up until Erdogan caved in to agree on Sweden becoming the 33rd NATO member.

Considering that over nearly the last decade, Erdogan has consistently thumbed his nose at America, NATO and the West, overtly distancing himself from his NATO membership while defiantly strengthening ties with Putin, Erdogan in 2022 steadfastly refused to join the US/NATOs condemnation and sanction pile-on against Putin for his Special Military Operation in Ukraine. The steps taken by the German authorities "go beyond even the absolutely illegitimate demands of the anti-Russia sanctions packages," Zakharova told the Russian journal Mezhdunarodnaya Zhizn. Both Russian and German media had earlier reported that customs officials there had started confiscating personal vehicles with Russian license plates upon their arrival in Germany. This was sometimes done to Russian tourists traveling through Europe using their personal transport.

Russia will treat F-16s in Ukraine as nuclear threat - Lavrov "IndyWatch Feed World"

Western plans to provide US-designed fighter jets to Kiev represent an "extremely dangerous development," Russia's foreign minister believes... Moscow can't ignore the nuclear capability of US-designed F-16 fighter jets that may be supplied to Ukraine by its Western backers, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said. Lavrov warned in his interview with Lenta.ru on Wednesday: "By continuing to provide more sophisticated arms to Kiev, the US and its NATO satellites create the risk of a direct armed confrontation with Russia, and this may lead to catastrophic consequences." The plans to supply F-16s to Kiev is yet another example of an escalatory move by the West and in itself is "an extremely dangerous development," he stated. In the midst of fighting, the Russian military isn't going to investigate whether any specific jet is equipped to deliver nuclear weapons or not, he added. "We have informed the nuclear powers - the US, UK and France - that Russia can't ignore the ability...

NATO seeking global domination - Moscow "IndyWatch Feed World"

The North Atlantic alliance intends to use Ukraine as a proxy for endless war while expanding into the Arctic and Asia in pursuit of neocolonial objectives, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday, after a NATO meeting wrapped up in neighboring Lithuania. "The 'collective West' led by the US is not willing to accept the formation of a multipolar world and intends to defend its hegemony by all available means, including military ones. What the West calls the 'rules-based order' is nothing but a 'license they granted themselves to violate international law', and has nothing to do with the UN, which NATO frequently invokes." The Russian Foreign Ministry said: "NATO's achievements are well known: the growing instability, destruction of countries, rampant terrorism, war crimes that are committed with impunity, the blood of civilians, including children, and the endless flow of refugees." The bloc is now determined to "NATO-ize" Ukraine, treating the country as an expendable...

Free Speech Upsets Powers that Be "IndyWatch Feed War"

By Sheldon Richman | The Libertarian Institute | July 14, 2023

The Biden administration, along with mainstream politicians and journalists, are really upset that U.S. District Judge Terry A. Doughty has forbidden the executive branch of the central government from communicating with social-media platforms for the purpose of censoring or otherwise suppressing constitutionally protected speech. Judge Doughtys action came in an important free-speech lawsuit filed against the government.

He wrote in an accompanying statement:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a period perhaps best characterized by widespread doubt and uncertainty, the United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian Ministry of Truth.

So-called respectable government officials, journalists, and pundits the alleged adults in a room consider the judges temporary injunction the worse thing that could possibly happen. The headline in the progressive publication The American Prospect screamed in panic: Trump Judge Effectively Names Himself President. (That Trump judge, by the way, was confirmed by the Senate 98-0.)

Imagine it: agents from the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and other government agencies may not even suggest to Facebook, Twitter, etc., that they ought to take down or hide posts that take issue with the governments official line about whatever. Of course, when government officials suggest something to a private party, the suggestion may be interpreted as being accompanied by the subtle threat to retaliate legally if the suggestion is ignored. Think of protection racketeer telling a shop owner, You have a nice place here. It would be a shame if it burned down. Get the picture?

As we know, the government has been doing stuff like this for years, whether the matter was related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hunter Biden laptop, the Russia-Ukraine war, Russias alleged collusive 2016 election tampering, and who knows what else. According to a congressional committee, the FBI apparently even collaborated with Ukrainian intelligence to censor Americans frowned-on discussion of the Ukraine war on social media.

The posts that government agenc...

Kremlin clarification: Wagner does not legally exist, Putin tells media "IndyWatch Feed World"

The Russian president has opened up about his Kremlin meeting with the mutineers Russian law does not recognize the existence of private military companies, including Wagner, President Vladimir Putin told the newspaper Kommersant on Thursday, when asked about his recent meeting with commanders of the mutinous group. While attending a technology fair in Moscow, Putin was asked whether Wagner will continue operating as a combat formation. "Well, PMC Wagner does not exist," Putin told the Kommersant correspondent. "We don't have a law on private military companies. So it simply doesn't exist." "The group exists, but legally it does not," the president clarified. "It's a separate issue, related to legalization, that needs to be taken up by the State Duma and the government. A complicated question."

Another Act of Terror: How the Media do PR for Biden and Zelensky "IndyWatch Feed War"

The hypocrisy gets starker by the day. The same western media that strains to warn of the dangers of disinformation at least when it comes to rivals on social media barely bothers to conceal its own role in purveying disinformation in the Ukraine war.

In fact, the propaganda peddled by the media grows more audacious by the day as two stories last week from the frontlines illustrate only too clearly.

Dominating headlines has been the environmental catastrophe created by the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam under Russian control. Flood waters from the Dnipro river have ruined vast swathes of land downriver from the dam and forced many tens of thousands to flee their homes.

Rightly, the wrecking of the dam is being called an act of ecological terrorism the second major one associated with the war, following last Septembers blowing up of the Nord Stream pipelines supplying Russian gas to Europe.

The costs associated with keeping this war going and avoiding peace talks so that Russia can be weakened, as Biden administration officials insist is the priority, have grown much steeper than most people could have imagined.

This is why a clear understanding of what is going on and what interests are being served by fuelling the fighting rather than resolving the war is so vitally important.

There have always been at least two narratives in Ukraine, even if western audiences are rarely exposed to the Russian one outside of mocking commentary from western reporters.

In the immediate aftermath of the breaching of the Kakhovka dam, the BBCs Moscow correspondent, Steve Rosenberg, visibly sneered as he reported that Russian media were insisting Ukrainian terrorists were behind the destruction. Russians, he suggested, were being brainwashed by their government and media.

He obviously failed to spot the irony that his own reporting, like that of colleagues, has served to reinforce the impression that the only plausible culprit in the dams ruin despite a lack of evidence so far is Moscow. Like the Russian media, Rosenberg has been hawking precisely the line his own government, and its Nato allies, want from him.

Kiev city council bans 'Russian culture' "IndyWatch Feed World"

The Kiev city council has voted to impose a broad moratorium on public displays of "cultural products" made using the Russian language, citing the armed conflict with Moscow. "We must once and for all restrict the Russian-language cultural products on the territory of Ukraine's capital," Vadim Vasilchuk, chair of the council's education and culture commission, said on Thursday. He labeled Russian "the language of the aggressor state that has no place in the heart of our capital." Vasilchuk explained that the decision means an effective ban on "books, artwork, audiovisual products, musical recordings, arts and crafts, stage and circus performances, concerts and services." The ruling is part of a wider state-sponsored campaign to eradicate historical and cultural ties with Russia that began in Ukraine after in 2014, when Crimea voted to join Russia following the Western-backed coup in Kiev. The movement escalated in 2022, when Moscow launched its military operation in Ukraine.

How would Canadians perceive Russian troops on its border? "IndyWatch Feed War"

The Canadian governments plan to double its semipermanent military force on Russias border ratchets up tensions that should be reduced. It highlights the Wests betrayal of promises made to Soviet officials and Canadas addiction to stationing troops in Europe.

On Monday Justin Trudeau announced that Canada will ramp up its military presence in Latvia. The government will add about 1,200 military personnel to the nearly 1,000 Canadians already deployed on Russias border. As part of the announcement Trudeau committed $2.6 billion over three years to expand Latvia-focused Operation REASSURANCE. Canada will also procure and pre-position critical weapon systems, enablers, supplies and support intelligence, cyber, and space activities, the prime minister said in a statement. Last month Ottawa announced the deployment of 15 Leopard 2 battle tanks to Latvia.

In 2017 Canada took charge of one of four Eastern European NATO battle groups. In June 2021 Canada opened a $19 million headquarters in Latvia and by the end of the current commitment Canadian Forces will have been stationed there for a decade.

The semi-permanent stationing of Canadian forces on Russias border represents a flagrant violation of the promises made to Mikhail Gorbachev at the end of the Cold War. In 1990 the Soviet/Russian leader agreed not to obstruct German reunification, to withdraw tens of thousands of troops from the east and for the new Germany to be part of NATO in return for assurances that the alliance wouldnt expand one inch eastward. A 1990 Ottawa Citizen wire article quoted West Germanys foreign minister, Hans-Dietrich Genscher, saying, the West is agreed that with a unification of Germany, there will not be any eastward extension of NATO, which was ostensibly a defence arrangement against the Soviet Union.

As Ive detailed, Ottawa led the charge for NATO expansion despite the promises made to Gorbachev. Soon after taking office in 1993 Prime Minister Jean Chretien began promoting Polands adhesion to NATO and Ottawa has led the push to double the size of the alliance by expanding into eastern and northern Europe. Ottawa has also promoted Ukraines adhesion to the alliance and has trained its military to be interoperable with NATO.

Alongside ending the stated objective for NATO, the dissolution of the Soviet Union undercut Canadas ration...

July 14 - Putin is Chabad Boy Toy "IndyWatch Feed Politics.us"

(left, Putin with his Chabad handler, Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar)

Putin's dismissal of a top Russian official for criticizing Chabad Satanism has made me change my mind about Putin and the Russian war.  But the clincher is that Putin and Medvedev always refer to the West as "Anglo Saxons" when they know perfectly well that "anglo saxons" are getting their bums paddled in the West which is totally controlled by Satanist Jews (Chabad) and Freemasons.

Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Alexei Pavlov, the official who labeled Chabad as a "neo-pagan cult," from his position as the assistant secretary of Russia's security council. The Russian state TASS news agency reported that the Kremlin published its decision on Friday.

The Russian news agency reports that Pavlov will now be moving on to another job after having served as the Assistant Secretary of the Security Council since 2009.

The reasons for Pavlov's dismissal were unstated by the document announcing the move.

Russian chief rabbi, Berel Lazar, who is part of Chabad, called the column, posted last November, "a piece of vulgar antisemitism." His top deputy warned that the column heralded "a new era in Russia's relations with Jews."

In the column, Aleksey Pavlov, secretary of the Security Council of Russia, a government committee of experts, spoke of the need to perform "desalinization" in Ukraine, which Pavlov claimed had hundreds of neo-pagan cults. He included "the Chabad-Lubavitch sect," as he called it, on a list of various religious groups that he said proved his point.
