Tehran to support Caracas oil production

Iran's oil minister says Iran is set to help Venezuela expand oil production with new bilateral agreements signed amid President Ebrahim Raisi's visit to the country.

On Tuesday, the IRNA news agency quoted the minister, Jawad Owji, as saying that Iran would invest in expanding oil fields and developing oil terminals in Venezuela as part of the deals.

Owji said Iran has exported more than 2.8 million technical parts for refineries to its Latin American ally since Raisi took office in 2021.

[Collaborating] in the petrochemical industry is now on our agenda, as Venezuela can produce 12 million tons of ammonia, urea and polyethylene, he added.

Venezuela has one of the largest oil reserves in the world, but as a result of US sanctions, it has been unable to renovate oil industry infrastructure and has been hit by severe petrol shortages in recent years.

Taliban Border Clashes With Neighboring States Of Afghanistan (Map Update)

Since the onset of Talibans takeover of Afghanistan in August 2021, the Taliban-affiliated militants have conducted 26 clashes with Afghanistan neighbors. The armed conflicts have resulted in the death and injury of dozens of civilians as well as border guards from Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other neighboring countries.

The main root cause of the Talibans border clashes with Afghanistans neighbors is that the Taliban militants possess insufficient know-how regarding international border laws and regulations. More importantly, the Taliban rulers do not make any effort to prevent tensions with their neighbor states!

Afghanistan is a landlocked country, which does not have any access to free waters. And the prelude to the establishment of stability and security in such a region is cooperation with neighboring states in order to create appropriate condition for economic and political growth along with issues such as security and stability.

Unfortunately, following five decades of conflict and bloodshed in Afghanistan, the country is still involved in ethnic clashes as well as pursuit of self-interest by powerful individuals and one-dimensional governments. Hence, it can be predicted that the war-torn...

Global Refugee Crisis Reaches New Heights "IndyWatch Feed Nthamerica"

Fueled by conflicts across the globe, more people than ever before in human history were forced from their homes last year, the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) announced today. And there is no indication that this trend is slowing down.

At the end of 2022, an estimated 108.4 million people were displaced by war, persecution, violence, and human rights abuses. That figure increased by a staggering 19.1 million from the previous year, the latest UNHCR report showed.

Refugees, which means people who left their own country to get to safety, made up about one-third of that total. Most of the rest were persons displaced internally.

The war in Ukraine was the biggest driver of this increase. Russias invasion forced 5.7 million people to flee their country, which UNHCR said is the fastest outflow of refugees anywhere since World War II.

These figures show us that some people are far too quick to rush to conflict, and way too slow to find solutions, UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi said. The consequence is devastation, displacement, and anguish for each of the millions of people forcibly uprooted from their homes.

So far this year, more than a million people were added to this total, in part because of a new conflict in Sudan.

A striking aspect of this report is that most of these refugees do not end up in the worlds wealthiest nations, but rather in low- and middle-income countries.

So when you hear American politicians talk about a refugee crisis at the southern border, keep in mind that it is not the US that is shouldering the burden of providing new homes to people forced from theirs due to fear for their own safety.

UNHCR found that the 46 least-developed countries, which account for just a bit more than one percent of the global gross domestic product, are hosting more than 20 percent of all refugees.

People around the world continue to show extraordinary hospitality for refugees as they extend protection and help to those in need, said Grandi. But much more international support and more equitable responsibility sharing is required, especiall...

You Have No Idea Thank Fake News "IndyWatch Feed World"

QUESTION: Hi, Russia seems so far to lose the war in Ukraine with relatively low tech weaponry. How do you see things turnaround according to Socrates?
What cards do they have left?
Russian Airforce has been rather inactive so far? Nukes?
Scary and dangerous world with war mongers all over the political landscape.

Best Regards,

JH

REPLY: Russia is not losing the war. That is all propaganda from the US/Ukraine to keep the money flowing. I have reported before that a few French soldiers who had volunteered to help Ukraine left in disgust. They were creating war crimes shooting prisoners, and torturing others, but they were selling US weapons on the black market. Even the Canadian sniper known as Wali returned to the horror stories of Ukrainian soldiers and corruption. As one returning mercenary put it that Ukraine is a corrupt fucked up society.

You have no idea what is really going on. Only after the fact when all the missing weapons during the Afghanistan War were appearing on the black market in the United States did Obama finally wake up to the real shit-show and why Washington loves endless wars they steal money from everywhere. Then CNN only reported all the missing weapons that somehow never made it to Afghanistan
