The man appointed to oversee the welfare of animals in Istanbul has reportedly been imprisoned for overseeing a cock-fighting ring.

Turkish police received a tip-off about an illegal cock-fighting ring in a garage in Istanbul's Sancaktepe district, local media said.

After raiding it on 24 January, they found a ring made for roosters with seating around it. On the floor were animal hair, traces of blood and bottles of alcohol.

According to the Sabah newspaper, the owner of the garage was Ufuk Inanc, head of the Istanbul Association for the Protection of Animals, the Environment and Nature.

Inanc has denied that the garage was being used for cock-fighting and instead said it was used for the activities of his association.

Russia repels Ukrainian attack on its warship in Black Sea: Moscow "IndyWatch Feed War"

Press TV June 11, 2023

Russia says it has repelled a mass attack by Ukrainian high-speed marine drones on its intelligence gathering vessel that was guarding gas pipelines in the Black Sea.

The Russian defense ministry said in a statement on Sunday, Ukraines armed forces made an unsuccessful attempt to attack The Black Sea Fleets Priazovye ship.

The warship was monitoring the situation and ensuring security along the routes of the TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines in the southeastern part of the Black Sea, the ministry said.

The battleship continues to perform its tasks, it added.

The Priazovye, according to Russian sources, is armed with two automatic naval, AK-306 rotary cannons and surface-to-air missile launchers.

According to the ministry, a remotely piloted US military aircraft, known as the RQ-4 Global Hawk, was conducting reconnaissance in the Black Sea at the time of the attack.

German-made Leopard tanks, US Bradley vehicles targeted

In a separate statement, the ministry said its forces had destroyed at least seven German-made Leopard tanks and five US-made Bradley vehicles over 48 hours while repelling Ukrainian attacks.

The military destroyed a column of armored vehicles of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade in the Zaporizhzhia region, it said.

During the past day, the armed forces of Ukraine continued unsuccessful attempts of offensive actions in the Donetsk, southern Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, it said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday that his military was engaged in counter-offensive and defensive operations.

His forces also claimed they have advanced by about a mile at some parts of the front line in the area on Saturday.

The Russian defense ministry, however, said later in the day that Ukraines forces launched attacks in the south of Donetsk and in Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in the area of the eastern city of Bakhmut, but their attempts failed to recapture any territory.

The ministry published several videos and pictures over recent days showing numerous strikes on Ukrainian-manned armored vehicles and tanks from Ka-52 attack helicopters and drones.

In footage released by the ministry on Saturday, drones were shown striking tanks in the Zaporizhzhia region where Kievs forces have so far focused their counteroffensive.

Ukraines president said last month that his country needed to wait for more Western armored vehicles to arrive before launching the counter-offensive.

He has been on a diplomatic push to maintain Western support, seeking more military aid and weapons, which is key for Ukraine to succeed.

The True Story of Hyperinflation "IndyWatch Feed World"

QUESTION: Dear Mr. Armstrong,
could you please explain what happens in technical terms from a capital flow perspective, when confidence is lost and hyperinflation starts to begin?
For example Turkey. When Erdogan was elected i think you wrote that ever since the lira started dropping. So confidence in politics is key. Do you think one day we will see hyperinflation in Turkey?
And another example, is Yugoslavia: what caused the hyperinflation (in technical terms/capital flow perspective)? Are foreign investors getting rid of the dinars? Too many dinars than suddenly rushed back into Yugoslavia causing hyperinflation?
Regards,
Magdalena .

ANSWER: The misnomer about hyperinflation is that it is caused by printing money. It is a RESPONSE to the collapse in the confidence of the government.  If we look at the 3rd century, this is where we find the greatest number of hoards of ancient coins. What began this was the capture of...

Kiev Fails in Attempt to Attack Russian Naval Ship Protecting Black Sea Gas Pipelines

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation spoke about the destruction of all Ukrainian boats by fire 300 km southeast of Sevastopol

Stanislav Krasilnikov/TASS/Archive

MOSCOW, June 11. /TASS/. The Kiev regime made an unsuccessful attempt with surface drones to attack the Black Sea Fleets ship Priazovye on a mission to protect the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream gas pipelines in the southeastern portion of the Black Sea, Russias Defense Ministry reported on Sunday.

"Today, at about 1:30 p.m. Moscow time, Ukrainian armed formations made an unsuccessful attempt with six fast-speed unmanned sea boats to attack the Black Sea Fleets ship Priazovye accomplishing the objective of monitoring the situation and providing security along the routes of the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream gas pipelines in the southeastern portion of the Black Sea. In repulsing the attack, all the boats were destroyed from the Russian naval ships standard weapons 300 km southeast of Sevastopol," the ministry said in a statement.

The Black Sea Fleets ship Priazovye continues accomplishing assigned missions after Ukraines attempted attack, with no casualties reported among the Russian personnel, the ministry said.

"There are no casualties. The ship has not sustained any damage. The Black Sea Fleets ship Priazovye continues accomplishing assigned missions," the ministry said in a statement.

A US RQ-4B Global Hawk strategic remotely-piloted surveillance aircraft conducted reconnaissance in the airspace over the central part of the Black sea during Ukraines attempted attack, as in other previous cases, the ministry said.

Previously, the Kiev regime carried out an attack with three surface drones on May 24 targeting the Black Sea Fleets ship Ivan Khurs that was providing security for the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream gas pipelines in Turkeys exclusive economic zone. All of the Ukrainian surface drones were destroyed by the Russian naval ships standard weapons. The personnel of the Russian surveillance ship who repul...

Germanys Top Tank Destroyed on Ukrainian Frontlines: Leopard 2A6 and Dozens of American Bradleys Taken Out "IndyWatch Feed War"

Scroll down for video

Military Watch Magazine June 9, 2023

Since the initiation of Ukraines mass offensive against Russian positions the Ukrainian Army and allied paramilitaries have begun to actively deploy new batches of armour received from Western countries, including not only very large numbers of Leopard 1 and Leopard 2A4 tanks, but also the much more capable Leopard 2A6 which, alongside the British Challenger 2, is considered the most capable in the countrys inventory. While Leopard 2A4s have proven highly vulnerable in combat with armour protection that is effectively obsolete, as best demonstrated by Turkish use of the vehicles against local militias in Syria and Iraq, the Leopard 2A6 has long been marketed as a much more capable vehicle. Costing close to $8 million per vehicle, advantages of the new variant include use of 3rd generation composite armour, integration of a a longer barrelled and more powerful main gun, installation of additional armour modules on the turret, and use of much improved fire controls. The loss of these tanks, which have widely been considered the most capable in production across the Western world, has significant implications well beyond Ukraine itself.

Four more Ukrainian Leopard 2 tanks destroyed Moscow

RT.com June 10, 2023

The Russian military has destroyed nine Ukrainian tanks, including four German-made Leopard 2s, as it successfully repelled attempts to advance by Kievs forces, the Ministry of Defense has claimed.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine has continued fruitless attempts to carry out offensive operations in Russias Zaporozhye Region, in the south of Donetsk Peoples Republic and near the city of Artyomovsk, also known as Bakhmut, ministry spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said during a briefing on Saturday.

In Zaporozhye Region, Russian ground troops, artillery and aviation repelled two attacks by large Ukrainian units boosted by tanks in the area of Yablonevo and Novopokrovka villages, he said.

Two of Kievs armored convoys were struck near the settlements of Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka, the spokesman also reported. There were also three smaller Ukrainian attacks in the region, which were also unsuccessful, he added.

Turkey: the second round of voting is finished but the old problems remain "IndyWatch Feed Asia"

Turkey: the second round of voting is finished but the old problems remain

As many experts had predicted, President Recep Tayyip Erdoan beat his rival in the Turkish presidential elections in a second round of voting, and is set to be sworn in for his third term as president. His triumph after a close-run first round has been celebrated both in Turkey and abroad, but the 69-year old populist and Islamist leader, who has been in power for two decades, faces serious challenges as he begins his new five-year term.

In effect, Erdoan has radically changed Turkeys political system, transforming a secular state with a multi-party parliamentary system, in which religion played a marginal role and the army a highly influential one, into a strong presidential republic relying for its support on the countrys religious majority and Turkish nationalists. Nationalism has always been a significant force in Turkey, and formed the basis of Ataturks reforms, but it was an essentially Western, secular nationalism. Erdoan has combined nationalism and Islam, adding to the mixture a strong presidential authority and an aggressive foreign policy. He has also been able to benefit from the rivalry between the West and Asia and use it to strengthen Turkeys status and influence on the international stage.

His rival in the elections, Kemal Kldarolu appears to have played his cards badly in the runup to second round of voting. His openly racist rhetoric, primarily directed against the more than 3.5 million Syrian refugees living in Turkey, may well have backfired and spoiled his chances. At least 200,000 Syrians have now received Turkish citizenship and they make an important contribution to the countrys economy something the business community is well aware of. It is estimated that in 2020 Syrians invested more than $500 million in the Turkish business sector, mainly in small and medium-sized enterprises.

Kldarolus pro-Western sympathies also did...

Kievs Alleged Proof That Russia Blew Up The Kakhovka Dam Doesnt Stand Up To Scrutiny "IndyWatch Feed War"

BY ANDREW KORYBKO | JUNE 9, 2023

The Ukrainian secret police claimed on Friday to have intercepted a call between two Russian soldiers where one of them allegedly admitted that their side blew up the Kakhovka Dam. That person explicitly denied that Kiev was responsible and instead said that it was a false flag attack by Russias own troops that supposedly went awry, which would explain their losses downstream. They also said that the flooding killed thousands of animals in a nearby safari park.

Nobody should believe the account that was shared in this recording since it doesnt stand up to scrutiny. For starters, its already suspicious enough that the three talking points made in the recording that Ukraine wasnt responsible, Russia staged a false flag that didnt go according to plan, and thousands of animals also died perfectly align with Kievs official narrative. The chances that one of their opponents echoed all three points in a single secretly recorded conversation is highly unlikely.

The second reason why this is dubious is because it was shared a day after Foreign Minister Kuleba angrily rejected Turkiyes pragmatic proposal to form a multilateral committee for investigating the Kakhovka Dams destruction. Kiev would have certainly known that refusing to participate in a truly neutral investigation into this war crime would make their side look guilty, which explains why they fabricated this recording in order to desperately divert attention towards Russia instead.

And finally, the global media attention that this recording just generated serves to drown out the discussion that Tucker Carlson sparked in the first episode of his new show on Twitter where he informed the 110 million people who watched it about a damning Washington Post report from December. Ukrainian Major General Andrey Kovalchuk not only admitted to plotting the exact same terrorist attack that happened half a year later, but even to testing its viability with US-supplied HIMARS missiles.

The content, timing, and context within which the Ukrainian secret police just shared their alleged proof that Russia blew up the Kakhovka Dam are all questionable in and of themselves, let alone when taken together. No honest observer would extend cre...

Bidens Failures Reek of Antiquated Globalism "IndyWatch Feed Africa"

America Is No Angel

Theres a problem in the United States now and it stems from an unrealistic attempt to please the crowds with some notion of having the moral high ground, as if Washington is a do-gooder, saving the world from evil, but those tactics are costing America a lot, in real terms.

The United States sanctions regime, which it uses across the globe, not just against Russia, has mostly failed and only served to distance the sanctioned from using the dollar, and China has welcomed the sanctioned party into its arms.

Turkeys Erdogan just won the election for the millionth time with the campaign platform that he wont take the bait of the West and borrow funds from the IMF, and that Biden doesnt tell him what to do.

Iran has virtually achieved full nuclear capabilities, defying American sanctions and Washingtons threats.

Syrias Assad has been able to remain in power and, in Yemen, Irans interests are winning over the West.

Hating America is now well more than just burning flags; it is fueling dictatorships to remain as such, with leaders promising not to succumb to America as a slogan.

Its becoming a very popular political mantra to help win elections in the Middle East and, Im certain, will soon be the same in Asia.

The strategy is simple; occupy the time and resources of the American army in the Middle East, so they cant be focused solely on the South China Sea, which means that the alliance with Japan has become a lot more important. This explains why their stock market is already rallying to a 30-yr high and why growth has come back to the forgotten country.

Globalism of the Petrodollar is dead.

This has far-reaching implications, not the least of which is that seamless supply chains, which have been in place...
